SMS Privacy Policy
This page explains how SMS communications may be handled when a person chooses to receive text messages from Georgetown Healthcare System, Inc. or an authorized program.
Consent-based messages
SMS messages should only be sent when a person has provided consent or otherwise requested text communication.
Message content
Texts may include community program updates, appointment or event reminders, partnership communication, or follow-up related to an inquiry.
Opting out
Recipients may reply STOP to opt out of future SMS messages, when supported by the messaging program.
Data sharing
Mobile information is not intended to be sold. Information may be used only to support the communication requested or required by law.
