Our Story

Four Decades of Caring

Since 1985, Georgetown Health Foundation has been a cornerstone of community health in Williamson County.

1 Our Beginning

Georgetown Health Foundation was established in 1985 by a group of dedicated community leaders who recognized that access to quality healthcare should not depend on one's ability to pay. What began as a modest effort to help neighbors in need has grown into one of the region's most impactful health-focused philanthropies.

2 Growth & Evolution

As Georgetown transformed from a small Texas town to one of the fastest-growing cities in America, GHF evolved to meet emerging health challenges. We expanded from direct assistance to strategic grantmaking, building a network of nonprofit partners who share our commitment to community health.

3 Today & Tomorrow

Today, GHF distributes over $7 million annually to more than 50 partner organizations. We're tackling complex issues like mental health access, senior care, childhood wellness, and social determinants of health. Our vision for tomorrow includes innovative programs to address emerging challenges like older adult homelessness.
